Arjumand Bano: Luxury Formal Dresses by Shurooq

Arjumand Bano is a Shurooq formal collection inspired by heritage and the visual richness of traditional South Asian dressing. The 12-design edit brings together distinctive colours, intricate embellishment and varied silhouettes, from lehnga choli ensembles to organza and tissue combinations.

The collection includes Shah Begum, Noor Bano, Mumtaz Mahal, Malika Jahan, Jodha Bai, Nawab Bai, Meher Bano, Noor Jahan, Nawab Jaan, Kumari Sahiba, Dilras Bano and Tara Begum. Each design has its own character, allowing customers to explore different interpretations of formal dressing within one collection.

Heritage-Inspired Design and Embellishment

The Arjumand Bano collection combines decorative detail with a range of fabrics and silhouettes.

  • Shah Begum features a light amethyst-purple bareeze net lehnga choli and dupatta, decorated with chandi tilla floral and jaal embroidery. Its product description also identifies resham, naqshi, sitara, hand-applied crystals and pearl beading.
  • Mumtaz Mahal offers a peachy rose-gold palette with bareeze net, floral and geometric Mughal motifs, tilla and resham embroidery, and hand-applied naqshi, dabka and pearl embellishment.

Rich Fabrics and Distinctive Silhouettes

Fabric and construction help distinguish the individual designs.

  • Malika Jahan combines a regal green organza shirt and dupatta with a crushed gold tissue sharara. Its product description identifies tilla and resham embroidery alongside naqshi, dabka, crystal beading and micro sequins.
  • Jodha Bai takes a different direction with an ice-blue raw silk shirt and gharara, multicoloured floral embroidery, hand-applied crystal and pearl beading, and a pure organza dupatta.
  • Noor Jahan features a champagne-coloured organza shirt and dupatta with antique gold tilla embroidery and raw silk trousers.
